We are incredibly grateful to the Liverpool Ladies Network for pledging to raise £9000 to support girls and young women in Merseyside to believe in themselves and their unlimited futures.

At The Girls’ Network we work to inspire and empower 14 to 19 year old girls by building their confidence, self-esteem and aspirations by providing one-to-one and group mentoring, access to a network of professional women, and workshops, events and opportunities that build awareness of the world of work, career pathways and essential life skills. Many of the girls we work with don’t believe they can have high-status careers or achieve their ambitions, and may have only been exposed to narrow, stereotypical experiences of work. We challenge these beliefs, helping girls to build confidence and a more positive vision of the future.

Your support will help us to reach more girls across Merseyside, helping them to believe in themselves and their unlimited futures.

The Girls’ Network made me feel like I'm part of a community of strong women and that has made me feel a lot more strong about myself and where I could go

I absolutely love my mentor, she has been so supportive and encouraged me to push myself out of my comfort zone to do things that I previously was too scared to try even though I wanted to do it. She is such an inspiration, not just because of her successful career, but also because of how lovely she is a person.

It has already increased my confidence massively, it has also helped me in school and inspired me to work hard to have the future I want.
