International Women's Day 2026 Founded on International Women’s Day in 2013, The Girls’ Network has always been driven by the belief that every girl and young woman deserves the support, opportunities, and confidence to shape her future. This year we are proud to align with the UN theme of Rights. Justice. Action. for all women and girls. At The Girls’ Network, we see the power of action every day. When someone volunteers as a mentor, shares expertise, funds a programme, or opens a door to opportunity, girls gain the confidence, connections, and belief they need to reach their potential. Through our workshops and 1-to-1 mentoring, girls learn to recognise their strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and take action, big or small, for their own futures and the futures of other girls and women. Experiences like our Law Conference, visits to Parliament, career events, blogs, and ambassador-led YouTube conversations with inspiring women show them how they can take action to create a more just society.
