Four Women, one ocean...and a lasting legacy

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that the Force Atlantic team has completed the World’s Toughest Row! It took them an incredible 46 days, 55 minutes, and 3,000 miles to row from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean.

The team - made up of four extraordinary women - faced both physical and mental challenges along the way, rowing non-stop in two-hour shifts, all while navigating the harsh conditions of the Atlantic. This is the first all-female Army team to achieve such a feat, with some of the rowers having no previous rowing experience before signing up. Their strength, teamwork, and determination have truly shown us what’s possible when you work together and believe in yourself.

As they rowed, the team raised money for The Girls' Network which will go towards supporting our mission to help more girls and young women build the belief and skills they need to thrive.

Huge thanks to Sheri, Emma, Becca, Imy and their support team for choosing to support The Girls’ Network throughout their journey. Their mission - to Promote, Inspire, and Belong - resonates deeply with us, and we are excited to continue our partnership in the coming months to help inspire more girls to dream big and do hard things.
