Is 2025 the scariest time to be a girl? 

We were pleased to be invited to be part of an article in Stylist Magazine published in March exploring the reality of growing up as a girl in the UK today.

Our CEO, Becca Dean MBE, spoke to journalists about the challenges girls and young women in our network face, and some of our mentees and ambassadors shared their thoughts and experiences too (names changed for anonymity).

It's a tough but vital read. From increasing misogyny online to the pressures of social media and real-world harassment, it highlights why the work we do at The Girls’ Network is more important than ever. Girls need confidence, skills, and hope for the future to navigate the challenges ahead.
